Use these Digital Exit Slips to assess student comprehension on reading assignments. They’re perfect as a remote activity but can be printed out too. Students can type their responses in the boxes and manipulate any moveable pieces.
They only take a few minutes for students to complete but serve as an effective informal assessment to help gauge how comfortable they feel with the material. The best part about these exit slips is that they can be used with ANY text and ANY grade level.
I teach college education courses and use these Digital Exit Slips as a quick check-in to gauge student comprehension. They’re a great way to keep students accountable for their reading assignments and encourage self- monitoring and study skills.
